Microneedling FAQs

  • A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to improve comfort. Most clients experience pressure, vibration or mild sensitivity rather than significant pain.

  • It may improve the appearance of acne scars, suitable surgical scars, uneven texture, enlarged pores, fine lines and reduced firmness.

  • Redness, tightness, dryness or mild swelling are common after treatment and usually settle within several days. Your skin may temporarily feel similar to a mild sunburn.

  • The recommended number depends on your concern, skin condition and desired outcome. A series is often recommended for concerns such as scarring or more noticeable textural changes.
